92% of program graduates receive their  diploma.

80% of program graduates join the workforce, the military or continue their education.

More than 300 at-risk youth take the ChalleNGe each year in the state of Hawaii.

Mentor Application (completed by mentor)

FAQ

What ages do you accept?
Applicants must be between 16 and 18 years of age on the start date.

 

Is there tuition for the program?
Tuition for the program is completely funded by the State of Hawaii and the Federal Government. 

 

What type of diploma do graduates receive?
Cadets will earn a C-Based diploma. 

 

What items do I bring?
Cadets will only need the items noted on the packing list, which is received upon acceptance into the program. Any items not on the packing list should not be brought to the academy.

 

Do I need a mentor?

Yes, a trained mentor is required for graduation.  Ask teachers, pastors, counselors, neighbors or your uncle/aunty to to be your mentor.
